FusionX: Europe will bring the fusion industry to Grenoble on Sept. 24. Co‑organised by Renaissance Fusion, the event gathers leaders across the sector to discuss technologies, AI‑driven power needs and the path to fusion industrialisation.
June 12, 2026 - Fusion energy is at a pivotal moment in Europe, and this September the industry is convening in Grenoble (France).
Renaissance Fusion co‑organises ‘FusionX:Europe’, the European edition of the world‑renowned fusion industry event, taking place on 24 September 2026, in the French city.
"As Grenoble is European Capital of Innovation this year – says Sam Guilaumé, CEO of Renaissance Fusion - we are proud to host a leading international event like FusionX to celebrate the progress we are doing in France, and especially at Renaissance Fusion, towards industrializing fusion energy."
The event will bring together fusion executives, supply chain innovators, investors, research institutions and policymakers to discuss how Europe can translate its scientific leadership into industrial and commercial advantage. Discussion will focus on fusion systems, enabling technologies, superconductivity, power for AI infrastructure, and financing from a pan-European perspective.
The morning programme will feature conferences with European and international speakers happening at CEA’s Maison MINATEC, followed in the afternoon by a visit Renaissance Fusion’s facilities.
A networking lunch and a cocktail reception will offer participants the chance to connect informally.
